Programme Manager - UK Distribution Centre

Responsible for the implementation/upgrade of OTM globally for DHL Supply Chain. Scope includes the upgrade to an "off-premise (AWS)" solution for some geographies and the new implementation of OTM in locations where there have been recent acquisitions. In total 34 OTM environments in scope.

• Programme set-up - define scope, objectives, migration strategy, team structure, benefits measurement, comms strategy and plan, risk and issue management
• Development of required functionality in Oracle and bespoke systems
• Consult DHL BU`s as to the optimal set-up in order to meet customer needs whilst balancing cost and managing risk and service quality
• Day to day management of the programme of work incorporating 3rd party providers such as Infosys and Oracle

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain and Operations for Brooks Running, EMEA/APAC. Brooks has set its self an ambitious growth target, to be achieved by 2022. The primary driver for the forecasted growth is to gain market share from Brooks' direct competition both B2B and B2C.

• Develop a business case for the programme
• Manage an RFQ process to find a 3rd party logistics provider
• Supplier selection and contractual negotiations
• Solution options for eCom platform
• Set-up a programme of work between the new provider and Brooks
• Development and integration of ERP and WMS systems to meet business operations of Brooks
• Manage and coordinate a programme in both organizations to deliver a state of the art warehouse operations
• Review and recommend improvements to drive B2C volumes
• Route cause analysis to identify current logistics quality issues and put remedial measures in place in the new design
• Organisational re-design to ensure that processes are optimized and to negate duplicate effort and to aid communication, responsibility and accountability
• Migrate the business from existing 3rd party logistics provider to the new provider
• General consulting to the S&OP director for EMEA

Accountable for the end to end management of a project to deliver a Cloud Based (AWS) Sharepoint solution to support the optimization of warehousing and transport within DHL supply chain globally. The Operations Maturity Model (OMM) is an industry leading programme to optimize and standardize the operations within the warehouse and in the transport functions.

• Manage the end to end deliver of the programme from solution inception to implementation and handover to BAU
• Work with the operational business to define requirements and manage the delivery of the requirements in a web based software solution
• Migrate existing functionality from Sharepoint 2013 to AWS solution
• Manage the external 3rd party supplier to deliver the software solution
• Liaise with the corporate data centre operation to implement and embed the solution including the definition of SLA's and provision of support
• Financial management of the suppliers including contract negotiation
• Programme setup and drive continuous improvement

Manage the highly political and highly sensitive closure of the incumbent airline (BWIA) of this Caribbean island nation and in parallel, effect the start up of a brand new airline, Caribbean Airlines.

• Provide leadership and guidance at a time of turmoil for all the incumbent airline staff
• Initiate and manage multiple programs of work to close down and to start up a new airline
• Build a capable and functional team that would own and manage change in the new airline

Accountable for the end to end scope to deliver a travel management solution (AGM) to Brazil and the wider LATAM market.
