Working on Eventim’s webshop with six Scrum teams, two of which I supported. Teams focus on different shop areas, one on discovery domain, the other on checkout. The product is very complex, selling tickets in over 20 countries with various country and promoter needs and functionality on many devices. A special challenge is many time-bound requirements tied to specific events (tours, events like the Olympics).

This involves running old and new systems in parallel, gradual migration of country branches, interface adjustments and ongoing development based on current business needs. Countries have strong specific functionalities that must be mapped in the new system, aiming to avoid custom development and handle specifics via configuration.
