Summary

Identifying and introducing highly effective solutions for highly complex challenges—where long-standing solution approaches have failed. Primary approaches: Listening to what decision-makers and staff really need to make better decisions and carry out their work as expected. Focus on the root causes of the biggest damage: The excess of possible failure causes is narrowed down to a manageable number. Identifying solvable root causes that often hide behind visible ones. The solvable root causes, relevant Laws of Nature and what has delivered the needed results—where long-standing solution approaches have failed—point the way to simple solutions. Designing the package of simple, complementary solutions so that it passes the tipping points beyond which it becomes feasible, scalable and able to deliver the intended value creation.

The Law of Nature Manifesto (initiator, primary developer and coach) After it became clear that highly effective solutions to complex challenges were basically stuck in the systems, a few experts on this challenge asked the following questions: What do decision-makers really need to make problem-solving decisions? What do initiators really need to get their (highly) effective solutions through the systems? Worldwide, no one could be found who was willing to answer or address these questions at the required level, not even in academia. In co-creation with experts, the Law of Nature Manifesto emerged: The manifesto: Identifies universally applicable high-value intervention points A complementary operating system: To close or resolve relevant structural gaps and conflicts of long-standing solution approaches with minimal possible costs and risks. The users decide which parts are relevant and are applied, not the manifesto.

Agile yet reliable decisions™: For all levels (developers) To stay competitive today, agile yet reliable decisions are needed at all levels. For this, a 'simple' solution package with elements like the following is required: A guideline based on two Laws of Nature to reduce unnecessary bureaucracy and complexity to a healthy level Training experts and decision-makers in relevant Laws of Nature The workshop method 'Enhanced Goal-Oriented Project Planning (eGOPP)': Proven in practice to structurally improve project success chances—even with agile methods. Guided Self-Organisation™: As much freedom as possible; as much control as needed.

Guided Self-Organisation (primary developer, agile coach) Published as the (IT) Strategy Management Process; analyst, author, senior and coaching roles in implementation and operations with 30,000 employees; was ahead of its time: Results: Employees found guidelines, standards, services, guidelines and process descriptions within a few clicks; agile decisions; successful projects; various cultural issues dissolved because hidden causes were solved. Natural workflows, guidelines and simple structures enabled unlocking company-wide knowledge and delegated agile decision-making to the optimal level—without top management feeling they lost control. Bi-directional communication, lessons learned and user-friendly IT solutions provided the agile bridge that connected teams, departments, locations, processes and methods.
