I did lead transactional Finance for Eurofins Germany. Which means 400 Million Euros Turnover and 5000 colleagues in 100 Legal Entities.
I do this as Managing Director of a Shared Service Centre with 50 employees.
I enabled the achievement of bottom-line results by developing and implementing both financial and operations management plans for approximately 100 legal entities and 5000 employees. I maintained a trajectory of growth while avoiding obstacles arising from constantly changing demands of staff and operations across three departments. I increased staff’s performance and motivation levels of total 5o employees in three departments through three direct reports.
- Managing indirect spend and maximising savings by implementing P2P Platform (COUPA) in 70 legal entities.
- Introduced a ticket system to maximise service quality for more than 2.000 customer requests per month
- Replacing parts of an ERP system with a modern cloud solution and replacing OCR scanning of ingoing invoices and PDF (Email) utilisation for purchase orders by 50%.

I was the Department lead for Finance IT Germany. Leading multimillion dollar Migration and ERP rollout projects.
I was responsible for 1st level support of the ERP System with 1700 Users in Germany.
I was the lead of the internal project & process management team for Eurofins Germany (Shared Services)
I assembled, coached, deployed, and monitored high-performing team of five personnel for seamless operations. I rendered exceptional financial management advice as a consummate professional by rigorously reviewing all internal and external financial operations in Germany. I introduced workflow and project management systems to streamline day-to-day activities of SSC. I lead company’s demand management to forecast, plan, and manage the demand for products and services while conducting business analysis to deliver value to stakeholders.
- Acknowledged for completing 20 post-merger integration projects in two years, reducing the time from initiation to end from six months to two months.
- Designed a project management framework for whole company and introduced a new project management software; reduced ramp up time for migration and integration projects from weeks to 0-5 days.
- Built business intelligence tools to increase data transparency into financial and operational KPIs by 100 %.

I created the business analysis to drive the main financial controlling processes.
I lead projects that shapes the operations of several thousand employees and the complete finance department. I drove projects related to IT and finance management operations under strict time and budget constraints. integrated systems/sources of information and implemented a time tracking system by establishing management information and controlling system in SAP, BI, and CATS. I expanded and optimised the creditors accounting for the e-commerce business of external customers, including Escada, LEE, Wrangler, and Adidas by using Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Recognised by higher management for changing and boosting overall systems and processes efficiency by transforming paper based invoice workflows into electronic workflows (SAP FI).
- Invented a complete business dashboard for account payment department controlling based on an IT/BI project.
Financial Controller

I was the financial controller for DSV Germany shared services and several business units.
I transformed the operations and reporting for all internal allocations and cross charge activities fundamentally.
I was driving sales centring and played a vital part in profit maximization activities.
I identified threats and risks associated with the shared service Centre Germany while crafting business continuity plan accordingly. Set-up financial budgets and oversaw P&L activities for administrative areas of DSV in Germany. I enforced end-to-end controls for operational compliance with set standards/policies for subsidiaries of DSV road. I calculated costs and allocated all overheads in SAP FI / CO, leading to an accurate cost calculation of products and activities in many operational areas.
- Set up a detailed full scope reporting for all financial flows between the shared service centre and all operational Business Units ad Legal Entities to support higher authorities for the decision-making process.
- Decreased time for budgeting of all German SSC SUBBU´s, departments, and cost centres by 40%.
- Reduced the time spent for preparing, executing, reporting, month-end activates, and closing in SCC from 20 days to four days by establishing several digital tools (mostly VBA based).

I drove the entire hedging, cash management, debt management and investment controlling for multimillion dollar projects and operations.
