Engineering Project Manager

Project volume: approx. EUR 25 million

• Taking over commissioning at the client's site, monitoring overall progress
• Coordination of all activities across various trades (electrical, mechanical, control technology, measurement technology)
• Coordination between client and internal departments on open issues, especially regarding measurement technology, test runs, and evaluation methods
• Leading a task force team with client and supplier representatives: pursuing overall objectives, regular reporting to the client's E4 level
• Reviewing client requirements, mediating between client and machine builder, asserting claims for additional work
• Technical optimization of test stands toward target state (cycle time, quality requirements, etc.)
• Regular reporting to the client (plant management level)

Project volume: approx. EUR 10 million

• Recording and tracking open issues in the tracking tool "Redmine"
• Coordination of acceptance tests on the shop floor, including all necessary preparations (participant availability, parts availability, preliminary tests)
• Coordination with project management regarding valid specifications in terms of change requests

Leading various industrialization projects for automotive interior parts

• Supplier tendering, creating logistical and technical specifications
• Selecting and evaluating suppliers for purchased parts
• Reviewing and discussing technical requirements and specifications
• Initial sampling and other quality issues in the project environment (FMEA, 8D reports, continuous improvement, Run@Rate etc.)
• Conducting workshops on the shop floor: developing new manufacturing processes for new parts, optimizing existing processes (process cost calculation, process risks, compliance with target values, resource planning, design of new production aids)
• Coordinating different trades and ensuring delivery on time and in correct quantities (supplier management, external service providers and employees)
• Assessing change requests and their impact (budget, schedule, other effects)
• Scheduling / milestone tracking
• Targeted reporting internally/externally
• Budget planning and monitoring

• Representing the company
• Legal power of attorney in the absence of the managing director
