Key tasks include managing one or two managing agents (Hameln & Cologne) in property insurance and all related processes. Product development, sales (optimizing in-house rating tools & partnerships with comparison portals like Check24), managing and expanding partner network (broker support), negotiations with risk carriers (international), claims management and in-/out-collections. After acquiring another agent (Allstern Assekuradeur, Cologne), I also led projects to optimize processes and revenue.
Core tasks include placing IT freelancers for the public sector in eastern Germany and pitching the “contracting” model to public clients. Key task: served as internal auditor for French shipping and logistics company CMA CGM Group, analyzing departments’ performance and drafting optimization strategies presented to on-site management. Supported administration and project controlling. Assisted and stood in for on-site construction management in Murcia, Spain, for a solar park build by a German-Spanish investor consortium with GOLDBECK Solar as general contractor. Daily tasks included coordinating German and Spanish subcontractors to meet cost, quality and schedule goals. Role was mostly on-site in Murcia.
My career has taken me through various roles in different companies. In each organization I learned and helped shape new rules and systems, team cultures, ways of working and values. I’m looking forward to more of that!
