Summary

After moving into HR management, I gained comprehensive knowledge in international management through a part-time degree. At the German Vattenfall Group and GAZPROM Germania, I gathered extensive leadership experience at various levels up to HR director level (one level below board). Since spring 2018, I have been offering my experience to clients as an independent consultant, interim manager, and coach.

After more than 10 years in a technical role, I switched to HR management. Initially, I was responsible for HR IT, but soon took on broader leadership duties. My largest line role was building and leading the HR Shared Service Center for the German Vattenfall Group, with over 300 employees and a budget of more than €40 million. The goal was to merge four separate HR departments into a high-performing service organization serving 21,000 employees and 35,000 pensioners with standardized, high-quality services. We achieved this in three years while reducing costs by over 30%.

As a consultant and interim manager, I focus on reorganization projects, process optimization, and HR digitization. A key focus is identifying the impact of changes on the organization and managing related side effects. Change projects often fail not for technical reasons but on an emotional level. I also pay special attention to co-determination issues. In addition to consulting and interim management, I represent YOUTH GLOBE as a licensee in Berlin and Brandenburg. The company offers programs in personal development and leadership skills, with a focus on innovation and organizational leadership.
