I solve what gets stuck in procurement, logistics and operations.

I support mid-sized and growing companies in identifying and removing bottlenecks along their value chain - for example in chaotic procurement processes, stalled logistics or overwhelmed daily operations.

My work is based on 15+ years of leadership experience in international supply chains, medical technology and the event business.

In 2025, I founded Ultreia: a workshop format that helps companies turn vague project ideas into concrete, actionable roadmaps.

I don’t sell effort, I sell results, and I build my consulting model exactly around that.

If your company is growing but your processes can't keep up: let's talk.

Director of Technical Operations EMEA

The IRONMAN Group

From structure to standard: how functioning logistics became operational excellence.

After the European logistics and supply chain structure was in place, I was tasked with building a new EMEA-wide function: "Technical Operations".

The idea: bring all central operational functions under one roof (logistics, procurement, athlete services and event operations) and develop them further with unified processes and quality standards.

  • Built and led the new "Technical Operations" function with four areas of responsibility across 17 countries
  • Led an EMEA-wide tender for timing services, achieving around 15% savings
  • Introduced on-site printing: allocating and printing personalized materials directly on location – less waste, optimized processes, additional revenue opportunities
  • Developed and rolled out the "EMEA Ops Playbook" as a binding framework for operational excellence
  • Introduced service-level tracking for athlete inquiries: more transparency and clearly measurable improvements in customer satisfaction

This role showed me how to not only build systems but also anchor them sustainably. Under time pressure, internationally, with impact. That's exactly what I bring to my projects today.

Head of Supply Chain & Logistics EMEA

The IRONMAN Group

From chaos to flow. Container by container, country by country.

In this role, I was responsible for building and scaling the supply chain and logistics structures for IRONMAN’s growing European business. With over 40 events per year and constant material flow across borders, the challenge was to create structure without losing speed.

  • Established a functional Europe-wide logistics model for event materials
  • Introduced practical tools for forecasting, cost tracking and material planning
  • Worked closely with country teams to standardize processes while considering local conditions

This role was my entry into the international event business: I learned how to get systems moving without overloading them – and how important trust and reliability are in day-to-day operations.

Vice President Global Supply Chain

BIT Group

From strategic procurement to global supply chain responsibility.

In this role, I took on group-wide responsibility for all purchasing activities at BIT Group – with teams in Germany, the USA, France and China.

In the international setting of a fast-growing mid-sized company, I brought together global control, local requirements and cultural diversity – both strategically and pragmatically.

  • Developed and implemented a global supply chain strategy with annual savings of around €500,000
  • Built and integrated a new manufacturing site in Kunshan, China – from the supplier network to internal processes
  • Co-developed the "BIT Global Production System" (Lean toolkit) and designed central ERP processes

This role enabled me to make the transition from functional procurement to holistic supply chain design across borders. It was not just about savings, but about structures, processes and reliability on an international scale.

Head of Supply Chain BIT Germany

BIT Group

My first real leadership role: the place where I learned what makes a good team.

At BIT Group’s German site, I led a team of 12 and managed a purchasing volume of around €30 million.

This role marked my transition from expert to leader, with responsibility for people, suppliers and results.

  • Reduced inventory levels by approx. 20% through better planning and leaner processes
  • Optimized ordering and logistics processes to improve delivery reliability and reduce excess stock
  • Worked closely with production to better connect material availability and production flow

Here I learned how to lead, prioritize, and get systems running. Many of the foundations of my consulting work today come from this time.

Strategic Buyer

Heidelberg

Here I learned the ropes and saw what truly makes good purchasing.

After completing the program, I moved to one of the most effective purchasing teams I have ever worked with. My focus was on semiconductors and electromechanical components, with an annual purchasing volume of around €17 million.

  • Repeatedly exceeded savings targets through smart sourcing strategies and successful negotiations
  • Co-led a subproject to outsource complex assemblies to Hungary and China
  • Served as a close link between development, manufacturing, and suppliers, combining technical know-how with a strategic outlook

This role shaped my understanding of holistic purchasing: not just optimizing costs, but linking requirements, connecting departments, and delivering reliably.

Management Trainee

Heidelberg

A crash course in structured problem solving across four functions and two continents.

I started at Heidelberg in the 'Graduate Development Program', a structured trainee program with project-based assignments in key business areas. Each assignment was hands-on, cross-functional, and had real impact...my first in-house consulting experience.

  • Purchasing: Assisted sourcing for a new product line with unusual volumes and a high share of external manufacturing – my entry into strategic procurement thinking
  • CRM rollout (Mexico): Took full ownership of rolling out a new CRM system from process mapping to training on site, in Spanish, and in close coordination with local management
  • Strategy project: Contributed to a market study on customer productivity in the 'Product Strategy' team
  • Production planning: Analyzed optimization potential for low-volume/high-mix products using lean principles and one-piece flow

Dealing with ambiguity, structuring problems, thinking cross-functionally. All of this shaped me early on and still guides my work today.

Summary

Based on my broad experience across industries, functions and cultures, I develop custom solutions for and with my clients and drive their implementation. Together we shape change, master complex situations and create the foundation for sustainable growth. An analytical approach and continuous improvement are at the core of my work.
