Led a cross-site inventory reduction project at six locations focusing on raw materials, auxiliary materials, and operating supplies. Implemented in two phases: Phase 1 with short-term, pragmatic measures for quick relief. Phase 2 with a sustainable approach, including variant reduction, optimization of overall planning and control, and the introduction of Kanban loops. Result: Reduced inventories by 20 percent, with about 50 percent already achieved during the mandate period.

Bridged a vacancy and successfully found a successor at a fast-growing electronics supplier. Responsible for procurement, supply chain, quality and returns management. Introduced new framework agreements, set up and moderated planning processes (S&OP), and improved manufacturing control at the contract manufacturer. Optimized operational processes and worked closely with management to scale supply chain structures, including reporting.

Analyzed and optimized inbound and warehousing processes in e-commerce. Implemented specific measures to improve inventory accuracy and reduce costs, e.g., inventory counts, systems, etc. Led and developed the logistics team. Guided the company through the transformation towards more self-responsibility and a modern work culture.

Establishment and management of the entire supply chain organization for a new car manufacturer with multiple international locations. Leading 140 salaried employees and 600 industrial staff. Integration of an acquired Mercedes plant including 60 employees into the new structure. Responsibility for logistics planning, material and production control, S&OP, packaging, transport, customs, etc. Implementation of SAP S/4HANA (eWM, PP, MM, SD) and other SCM systems. Management of the supply chain from suppliers to vehicle delivery in over 20 markets.

Led international supplier projects to reduce material costs and improve quality and delivery performance. Implementation of a company-wide supplier portal, execution of lean initiatives, and active role as an assessor for supply chain excellence across the entire Siemens group.

First logistics manager for Grammer on site in China – initiated and built the entire logistics structure for three new plants. Developed and implemented international supply chains, introduced SAP systems, KPI standards, and material flow concepts. Global assignments as a crisis manager to ensure supply and optimize existing logistics networks.

Responsible for warehouse, picking, shipping, fleet management, and scheduling with 100 employees. Procured freight and logistics equipment and managed external service providers. Introduced efficient processes and structures to reduce delivery time from order to delivery by about 70%. Worked closely with purchasing, sales, and management.
