Project Manager Corporate Function Implementation

Design, setup and global roll-out of a new corporate function and corresponding requirements in 125 of the 650+ subsidiaries, in coordination with law enforcement and supervisory authorities. Designing and leading workshops with local senior management, and serving as liaison and contact person. Designing and rolling out a train-the-trainer concept. Preparing focus units for implementation audit by internal and external auditors. Project controlling and reporting of the subproject.

Analysis of the status quo and derivation of measures for organizational and process optimizations, as well as efficiency improvements. Creation of a roadmap and support at the start of implementation.

Subproject management within the program, also acting as product owner. Creating and preparing management presentations, and supporting program management. Among others, budget creation, forecasting, tracking and reporting.

Managing various global projects for the CFO during the carve-out of a business unit initiated by a private equity firm.

Transformation and restructuring program for a division of the group. Stakeholder management, reporting in client committees and close coordination with relevant managing directors. Creating decision papers, designing and conducting workshops. Taskforce management.

Digital & Strategy – Financial Services – Digitalization, process management, budgeting, reorganization, project management.

Project manager for end-to-end digitalization of the corporate credit process of a major German bank – capturing as-is processes, transforming and aligning the digital target processes using agile project methods.

Business financial planning – planning and creating the operational budget as well as the IT project portfolio budget for a division for the following year, in close coordination with division management and internal staff.

Project lead restructuring (10 months) – leading the restructuring of a Landesbank. Dissolving, merging, and reestablishing business units, including migrating employees and IT systems with partial capital market connection. Project controlling and reporting to client committees.

Process management – optimizing the New Product Process (NPP) relevant to regulatory requirements at a major German bank.

Project manager & PMO – member of the PMO and project manager in a major regulatory fraud investigation in the capital markets sector, interface to all external service providers such as software vendors, law firms and auditors, as well as reporting to the client’s C-level management.
