Client: Logistics service provider. Customers: Hager Group, Boeing, Levis, Kellogg's.
Project:
- Implementation of a 30.000 sqm distribution center.
- Development and installation of a WMS and a robotic-driven warehouse and pick/pack workplaces for small parts (50.000 locations).
Role & responsibilities:
- Phase 1 (2022): Overall project management. App. 15 project coworkers incl. external resources (IT).
- Phase 2 (2023/2024): Workstream-Lead Automation & Engineering.
- Finalising the design for the robotics and the conveyor system.
- Implementation support (commissioning, tests, acceptance).
- Cross-departmental coordination: Operations, Engineering, Automation, Facility Management (civil eng.), IT.
Results:
- Close collaboration with customer (Hager Group) and suppliers (robotics, conveyors, racks, sprinkler etc.).
- Handover of the fully functional automated warehouse section and achievement of the contractually agreed through-put.

- Conducting interviews in all functional areas and development of holistical recommendations for action.
- Appr. 10 project coworkers (dept. heads, specialists).
Results:
- Foundation for following detailed analyses - in particular as part of the upcoming ERP implementation - and the realisation of the recommended measures.

- Awarded by OEM with the project ,,Production line-side supply of material and packaging"!
