• Mobile business BlackBerry area: established the division for BlackBerry handhelds, from product marketing as a system provider to customer projects. • Product Exposys: evaluated a new development environment using J2EE or .NET for Exposys, a foreign trade financing product. • For the Hessian State Welfare Association: developed a quality assurance tool for the public sector. The tool assesses aid recipients to improve their condition and achieve long-term financial relief for the authority. It tracks to what extent the measures taken affect the aid recipient and identifies areas needing change. To support the survey, over 800 question items had to be ergonomically and efficiently accessible. Responsibilities included creating the UI design, writing the detailed technical concept, designing and building the ORACLE database with PowerDesigner, and software development.
• For Axel Springer Publishing House: developed an invoicing system for an online auction house with an SAP-FI interface for publishing. Created the detailed technical concept, designed the UI, and designed and built the ORACLE database with PowerDesigner, analysis and design with VISIO.
• For SER (now SunGuard): created a standard software for asset management. Based on an existing legacy system, the new system was built with PowerBuilder and Oracle. Developed 5 standard products: portfolio system, fund management, investment account for retail investors, a general asset management system, and system administration. Led and coached 40 developers across 3 sites, responsible for the development environment for 5 products. Developed the configuration concept for over 70 clients. Coached users on the PowerBuilder class library, planned the software architecture with ClearCase, automated testing with WinRunner, and handled release planning.
