Fluid dynamics spin-off technology with the goal of developing VTOL air taxis.

Idea was to mimic a bird's wing with feathers allowing passive dynamic reshaping of the wing profile by the surrounding air, leading to a better profile according to surrounding air: reduces stall on an airplane wing; reduces drag; increases lift.
Can solve transitions of VTOL state from vertical to horizontal flight through stall reduction.
