• Concept and implementation of a „Material Maintenance Group“solution to provide Business people a selection process for the definition of relevant Plants and belonging organizational structures. Solution by functional extensions of the Automatix-Tool.

gicom AutoMATix – Designed and developed an automated SAP material generation and maintenance solution based on predefined definitions and rules.

• Ensured master data quality at the material creation phase using AutoMATix combined with formal workflows for validations and additions.
• Consolidated predefined material master data rules into clusters and executed them in a single step through the SAP material posting process.

Project for Bayer Business Services (04/2008 – 12/2008):

• Showcased SAP NW-MDM.
• Analyzed SAP MDM functionalities and matched them with customer requirements for material creation and maintenance. Created a proof of concept for all relevant integrated components: SAP NW-MDM, ERP-MDM, SAP XI/PI, and SAP BW.
• Integrated and managed maintenance and approval processes using SAP Portal with a workflow solution.
• Evaluated pros and cons of SAP NW-MDM compared to the existing SAP ERP solution.

A Conceptional Framework for an Enterprise Metadata Management Solution

• The Concept describes the targets and benefits of a central meta data management system. Evaluations of specific underlying conditions, proposals for architecture and feasibility arguments were expected.
• Generation and support of RFI and RFP processes for specific Vendors as well as Proof of Concepts were accomplished.
