Founder

As co-founder of Triangle Show and Sports Promotion in 1997, Stefan established IRONMAN events in Austria, France, Monaco and South Africa between 1998 and 2013. Stefan and his partners sold Triangle Show & Sports Promotion to Providence Equity Partners in 2011 and stayed on board IRONMAN as the Managing Director of EMEA. In 2023 Stefan joined Infront Sports and Media to develop the corporate running series B2Run in Europe and a series of ten 10km road running events in major cities across China. He came back on-board IRONMAN in 2015 to organize the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 events in China´s Hefei, Xiamen and Liuzhou held in 2016 and 2017. During mid-year of 2017, the Austrian transitioned back to Europe to take over operations and business development within the EMEA region. In 2018 Stefan took over the role as Managing Director for EMEA within The IRONMAN Group. Stefan joined The IRONMAN Group´s Global Leadership Team in 2020 and took over the position as Chief Business Development Officer from 2022 to 2024. In 2024 Stefan founded SuccessPath Consulting. A company based in Spain which is focused on executive leadership coaching and global sports events consulting.

Stefan is a former member of the Austrian National Swimming Team, two times IRONMAN finisher and served in the Austrian Army to the ranks of captain from 1987 to 1999.
