As a marketing expert, I bring 37 years of experience across the entire marketing mix of modern multichannel direct/dialogue marketing, CRM and direct sales. Of these 37 years, I spent 20 years as a salaried specialist and manager with people and revenue responsibility in marketing focused on mail order. For the past 17 years, I've been working as a freelance project leader and interim manager for dialogue marketing, CRM, sales, and eCommerce for well-known companies, such as Glöckle Direct, Drillisch Online, R+V Versicherung, DT & Shop, Alba Moda, Heine, Pearl, Grüne Smoothies, 1&1 Internet AG, and Deutscher Sparkassen Verlag.
My experience ranges from process analysis and optimization of marketing and direct sales workflow processes to developing marketing strategies (including brand relaunches) and concepts, planning campaigns, and operational execution of target-group oriented dialogue marketing/CRM campaigns across online and offline channels (catalogues, print mailings, outbound telesales, email marketing, SEO/SEA, webshops, media) to customer loyalty measures with internal and external loyalty programs (e.g. customer cards, affiliate programs, multi-partner program collaborations).

With well over 1,000 successfully executed, target-group-specific dialogue marketing campaigns, I have proven expertise in planning and implementing marketing activities across all channels. I have solid know-how in campaign management and processes, from action planning, concept, copywriting and design, production planning, tender coordination, to operational scheduling and execution control (internal teams and external partners), including analysis and optimization measures.
As an expert in address selection and target-group analysis, I draw on extensive experience in this field. I have helped numerous companies improve contribution margins through selection optimization, address qualification, and customer retention analysis/lifetime value, including analysis of customer acquisition channels.
Furthermore, I have many years of experience in holistic control, project coordination, and project management of complex marketing and eCommerce projects (multi-project management). This includes experience in resource and time planning (creating schedules and milestones), project and budget controlling, reporting, and process documentation. I also have practical expertise in conducting workshops to detail requirements, writing requirement specifications, reviewing and approving specifications, and managing both internal departments and external service providers.
I am also experienced in planning, conceptualizing, coordinating, and controlling the implementation of webshop launches and relaunches, as well as operating shop systems, for example at Quelle, Bader, AGS, Eurotops, AMRITA, and Grüne Smoothies.
