Summary
In my almost 20-year career as a salaried employee at BMW, I built skills across many fields in various areas. As a long-time category buyer, I handled all purchasing-related topics such as market analyses, negotiations, requirements, supplier and supply chain management.
During my several years as a project buyer, culminating in department management at the BMW-PSA joint venture start-up "bpce", I also carried out purchasing-side modeling, alignment and introduction of processes, procurement systems, control tools, and contract management. After moving to international BMW Motorrad sales, I expanded my scope to include reporting, market development, product management, and market and logistics coordination from both tactical and strategic perspectives.
As a trained industrial engineer and industrial clerk with a strong technical affinity and hands-on mentality, I was able to bridge the gap between engineering and business early on and turn my ability to quickly analyze complex issues into time- and resource-saving optimizations. I always start with a thorough initial analysis involving all stakeholders to then effectively, efficiently and in a socially compatible way achieve the goal together in the company's best interest, using appropriate tools like BPMN, needs analysis, design thinking, and best practices.
To follow this path even more, I became self-employed as a consultant in 2019 and have successfully applied and deepened my broad knowledge in several projects in the energy industry. During this time, I also worked as a trainer and coach at levels from employees to division heads. I independently developed a trigger point massage device using CAD design and 3D printing processes and received a German utility model for it.
Sustainability, resource conservation and environmental protection, as well as social engagement (e.g. parents' council and support association) are very important to me both privately and professionally. In my private life, I focus mainly on family and friends and pursuing my hobbies.
