Summary
Koen started his IT career in 1998, driven by the approaching year 2000 problems. For the next decade he built his extensive technical knowledge in various system engineering and architectural functions. This gives him the advantage of having hands-on knowledge of a very wide range of IT technologies, including the surrounding services and infrastructure.
Starting 2006, based on this acquired knowledge and his natural people management skills, complemented with the necessary project and service management trainings, Koen opted for a more coordinating role in the IT consultancy domain.
After managing large IT infrastructure projects and programmes, both local as international, in various industries as the public sector, banking, insurance and food & beverages, he successfully filled multiple managerial roles within the ICT domain, covering both overall IT management as well as operations, infrastructure, portfolio & delivery management and service, support & process management.
He combines the love for human and technical leadership with a social, flexible, and no-nonsense personality.
