Architect and Business Developer

Between 2014 and 2020, Kumbier IT consisted of me plus up to three employees – since 2021 I’ve been working solo and like to tap into my large network when I need help or feedback on a specific topic.

Basically, I’m an old-school consultant trying to solve problems sustainably – if a client never calls me about the same issue again, I’ve done my job well. From this approach, my engagements often grow and extend beyond the original project goal to achieve a lasting, sustainable change.

To do this, I work using a first-principles approach and try to find the root cause of a problem. Together with the client, I develop solution concepts and support their implementation as an equal partner: where possible, I work integrated into the affected departments and with the employees who will ultimately be impacted.

Given IT’s close ties to all business aspects today, I involve all stakeholders—from management and controlling to compliance, data protection, UI/UX, and customers. I understand the different requirements and needs of all stakeholders and translate and manage them for each other.

My current focus areas outside of development are process consulting, software and system architecture, as well as web and cloud technologies.
