Plant Manager

Overall responsibility for managing the site, including full P&L responsibility; rubber parts; injection molding and assembly. OEM Daimler and BMW.

• Process optimization: Analysis and optimization of production and logistics processes with a LEAN management culture.
• Strategic planning: Development and implementation of suitable strategies for site development and to achieve company goals.
• Leadership of 230 employees in production, toolmaking, engineering, quality, maintenance, HR, logistics, and purchasing.
• Backlog reduction from €2M to €0.4M within 3 months.
• Scrap reduction of critical parts from 20% to 5% within 2 months.
• 5S pilot line setup from 20% to 80% within 1.5 months.

• Production focus: Plastic/rubber injection molding; metal processing: laser cutting, bending, milling, stamping, tube bending, straightening, welding, assembly.
• Interior module assembly: Cockpits, door panels, center consoles, steering wheels, front ends, air vents; autonomous driving cameras.
• Implementation and optimization of processes and workflows.
• Ensuring on-time quality deliveries.
• Coordination and interdepartmental alignment during ramp-up phases.
• Bottleneck management in production, logistics, maintenance, and quality.
• Backlog reduction, productivity stabilization, scrap reduction, complaint minimization.
• Welding shop scrap reduction from 15% to 5% within 3 months.
• Welding shop productivity increase from 60% to 80% within 3 months.
• Backlog reduction in prototype steering wheel deliveries from 100 pcs to 0 within 3 months.

Overall responsibility for the economic management of the Business Unit. OEM VW, AUDI, OPEL, FORD.

• Process optimization: Implemented and maintained LEAN management and KPI targets, along with optimized quality and maintenance management.
• Strategic planning: Development and implementation of strategies to achieve company goals.
• Leadership of 130-200 employees in production (assembly of door panels and instrument panels with lamination, foaming, laser cutting), quality, maintenance, engineering, and administration.
• Reduced production, maintenance, and overhead costs by 15% annually.
• Continuous productivity and quality improvement.
