Andre van Est has worked his entire professional career in MedTech and healthcare. Initially with an emphasis on innovation in medical diagnostic equipment, from different perspectives, as a researcher and developer, as a product and business manager and as a clinical application manager. Over the past 20 years, he has developed into an all-round healthcare consultant, with a focus on medical imaging, patient flow, healthcare logistics and planning, design and optimization of care pathways, value-based care and improving patient and staff satisfaction.
Throughout these years, he has worked closely with various healthcare professionals, both physicians and nurses as well as healthcare managers. Originally trained as an engineer, he easily switches between conceptual thinking and practical implementation. He is driven by the compelling perspective of a healthcare system based on the principles of value-based healthcare. To this end, he likes to build effective collaborations between different healthcare professionals and representatives of the MedTech industry.
