From 01 January 2021 to 31 December 2022, Salar Mohtaj implemented his own IT research project "Investigating Language Structure in Fake and Authentic Stories" (ILSFAS) in close cooperation with the partners Holtzbrinck Publishing Group and German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence. As part of this program, he expanded his management skills with special management training courses and refined his personal skills through mentoring.

The project was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with up to 100,000 euros.
