Responsibility for a budget of up to €350,000 and management of 2 employees.

Motivation for change: Price reductions from 2019 onwards and further ones for subsequent years led to continuous staff adjustments. Therefore, and after successfully building and digitizing corporate management, the managing director took over his former area.

• Headed the Finance and Accounting department of TR PLAST GROUP.
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and group consolidation according to HGB.
• Collaborated with banks, leasing companies, tax consultants, insurance brokers, lawyers, auditors and tax auditors, as well as authorities.
• Reported to the managing director and provided advice on all business management matters.
• Signing authority for lease and hire-purchase agreements up to €325,000.
• Built and expanded the controlling, accounting and finance areas, contributing a six-figure sum to the company's success.
• Established corporate management by implementing and restructuring accounting and setting up cost and performance accounting, liquidity management, corporate planning, group consolidation and contribution margin accounting (consolidation according to HGB; shareholdings, intercompany information, property and real estate data; consolidation types: balance sheet – capital consolidation, debt consolidation; income statement – expense and revenue consolidation, interim profit consolidation; key indicators: 1. liquidity, 2. asset position (balance sheet), 3. earnings position (income statement)).
• Ensured accurate company results by establishing internal cost allocation and accruals.
• Achieved a 24% reduction in budget costs through digitization and process automation, despite increased services.
• Achieved a 44% reduction in interest expenses and a 23% increase in discount income through the introduction of liquidity management.
• Achieved a six-figure reduction in maintenance costs by introducing cost accounting.

Responsible for a budget of about EUR 250,000, purchasing volume of on average EUR 28 million and leading 3 employees.

• Managed the purchasing organization of TR PLAST GROUP with four operating companies.
• Responsible for all operational and strategic procurement.
• Led price and service negotiations with suppliers, with signing authority of EUR 300,000 per order.
• Continuously optimized quality, service, and cost situation.
• Built and expanded the purchasing department.
• Reduced costs by an average of 2.5% per year and increased the procurement volume under purchasing control from 0% to 100% (Top 5 values of the 2019 KPI according to BME e.V. 99.97%) by introducing processes (average annual procurement savings of EUR 720,000).
• Achieved budget costs of only 0.89% of purchasing volume (BME Top 5 0.80%) by using a purchasing information system and by digitizing and automating processes (process automation in purchasing was implemented with QlikView NPrinting. Other examples: certificate tracking, contract tracking).
• Increased order confirmation rate from 40% to 99% and order confirmation time from 5 days to 2 days, as well as delivery punctuality to 93% (BME Top 5 93%) by digitizing and fully automating necessary purchasing processes with Qlik NPrinting.
