I have been working as a freelancer in the HCM module since April 1996 and have gained experience in all submodules, with development and customizing making up about 75 percent over the years.
My work as a developer covers the entire workbench, especially ABAP OO including dynamic programming using/assigning field symbols. I have implemented interfaces to other systems, SAP and non-SAP, via RFC, ALE interfaces with IDoc, SAP CPI (e.g. SuccessFactors interface), SAP BTP, as well as converting COBOL application programs into ABAP, SAP Fiori, developing customer-specific infotypes for PA and OM, and application-specific customizing, including dynamic actions, characteristics, functions and operations for payroll, wage types, attendances and absences. Regarding schemas and rules for payroll and time management, I have only limited experience, but I can independently carry out smaller changes, and I can read and understand the payroll log and the accounting interface log to locate and fix any errors.
The remaining 25% is for consulting, such as process analysis, functional detail design for integrating Postbank into Deutsche Bank’s SAP HCM system, migration concept for the system change from PAISY to SAP HCM, among others at HUK Coburg.
Over the course of my career, I have worked in various retail and industrial sectors including retail, automotive, pharma, print media, banking, insurance, aviation and the public sector.
