In my role as Interim Payroll Accountant I am responsible for posting the monthly payroll for 15 EMEA countries. I review the posting lists, ensure all payments are correctly executed, and check that the amounts paid match the liabilities posted.
Additionally, I correct discrepancies from past years and ensure proper accounting for special topics such as company cars or benefits in kind.
To optimize the process, I developed a Python script that prepares the posting lists for the SAP system, enabling more efficient data integration.
