Mr. Kay-Uwe Schmidt worked as an external employee for the C+C merchandise management department in the product management area of EDEKA Cash+Carry Systems (ECCS) from March 2007 to September 2011 within LUNAR GmbH. The ECCS product management team, as a central IT service provider, supports an end-to-end SAP-based merchandise management system for several C+C companies in the EDEKA Group.

In his role, he covered all relevant IT cycles, from process consulting and optimization, system enhancements, rollout, to 3rd level support. His main focus within ECCS-SAP Retail was on the SD area.

In this context, he led the following projects:

• Redesign of Cash+Carry pricing with a contract volume of approx. 500 TEUR
• Development of a unified calculation procedure with a contract volume of approx. 400 TEUR

Furthermore, he took part as an SAP consultant in the following projects:

• Participation in several deployment projects (migration of a wholesale business from legacy software to SAP ERP)
• Integration of C&C Lebensmittelgroßhandel GmbH Strobel
• SAP release upgrade to SAP ECC 6.0
• Support in content quality assurance of specifications, detailed concepts, function tests, customizing, and transports

Mr. Schmidt can be confirmed to have completed all tasks within his role on time, within budget, and to the required quality. Moreover, his deep SAP expertise, reliability, and team skills are worth highlighting.

In addition to these tasks, Mr. Schmidt supported IT management as a consultant on various technical and strategic issues.
