Summary

Everyone reads about the skills shortage. You and I know it doesn’t exist. So now you have way too many profiles and have to sort them. Whether one of them gets chosen, you don’t know. The client asked several suppliers. The job might go to another, and all your effort was in vain.

But there’s a ray of hope on the horizon. If I get a personal acquisition meeting with the end customer, I almost always get the contract. Because: people make projects. Not just an impersonal profile with a list of “skills” decides, but the client’s trust: this provider solves my problem with commitment and joy. But: to get this personal meeting, I need your help. So if you hint to your customer that they should meet this person in person – your chance of closing also increases.
