Helgo Göring-Drewes is currently working as a Senior Consultant/Manager and Interim manager for ERP- and CRM-Systems in the position of a contractor.

Supports SAP-projects by management, architecture, build-and-rebuild, review, audit and customizing systems also by developing in ABAP/4 or related tools.

Profound experience in conducting projects in a position of a manager or developer. Leads in a managerial position and supports as an interim manager or interface technical consultant.

Project management duties: plans, directs, and coordinates activities of system application and products in data processing (SAP) project design and implementation to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Contributes to integration of SAP solution into organization or client's business. Delivers ongoing SAP projects systems wide at single or multiple locations worldwide. Delivers project design and solution within timescales and budgets. Identifies, analyses, and mitigates or escalates potential risks and issues. Ensures quality of project deliverables and management of quality issues. Manages change for the organization or within client organizations. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modified schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. Maintains all necessary communication lines within internal and/or external project teams. Effectively communicates issues and recommends strategies and tactics to enable team performance. Ensures adherence to program requirements and standards and to internal administration processes. Ensures the integration of sound project management principles and practices into all IT projects. Provide technical expertise regarding scope, design, specifications, costs, timing and quality. Achieves successful management or client sign off and handover to post implementation support function.

Team lead duties: leads a team of business systems analysts responsible for the coordination and deployment of SAP system used in enterprise resource planning and related applications, such as supply chain management, customer relationship management, product life-cycle management, and supplier relationship management. Integrates packaged technology into a client's business environment in order to achieve the client's expected business results. Formulates and defines system's scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and requirements. Manages and coordinates development applications including requirement definition, project plan development, documentation, and production support. Assumes responsibility for the deliverables, schedule, and quality of implementation projects. Plans the project, forms and directs team to accomplish project tasks, and maintains control over the project. Works with business units in analysing, identifying, and recording business processes. Translates user requirements into SAP functionality and identifies resulting gaps. Recommends new ideas and/or efficiency opportunities. Devises and modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Works on and coordinates several key SAP deliverables. Assists users with test scripts and test phase. Resolves SAP systems issues resulting from user errors or incomplete configuration. Manages the communication of project-related objectives, processes, events, issues, status, and results. Utilizes full technical knowledge of phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other business systems analysts.

Solution consultant duties: assists clients in the selection, design, implementation, and production support of integrated packaged solution services. Integrates packaged technology into the clients' business environments in order to achieve clients' expected business results. Manages the delivery of packaged solutions involving technology, process, and organizational change initiatives. Provides hands-on leadership, direction, and mentoring to the team and manages client relationships. Participates in business case development for new opportunities and acts as the subject matter advisor for integrated packaged solutions. Delivers innovative business consulting, business process design, systems integration, and application design and management. Recommends solutions recognizing the importance of solution performance, availability, integrity, and ability to interface with existing applications. Performs critical evaluation and selection of hardware and software components and implements effective development methodologies and toolsets.
