Summary
For 14 years I have been actively involved in IBM i infrastructure technology. During that time, I helped clients in hundreds of projects tackle challenges in operating their IBM i, allowing them to focus on their core competencies, services, and products.
Before I started working as a freelancer in 2021, I was employed by two IT consulting firms serving a wide range of clients, mainly in the industrial and furniture sectors. Clients were supported both in data centre operations as a managed service and on-premise. In the data centre environment, my projects focused on monitoring, continuous service maintenance, and high availability. For onsite clients, the focus was on OS release upgrades, PTF updates, hardware migrations, and system integration, for example to an Active Directory for single sign-on operation.
