Summary
I am a senior leader of complex technology environments with many years of web development experience, as well as managing software development and product teams. Currently I am available to help and advice companies to build internet products, teams and to further digitalize products & processes. Responsible for tech-strategy & tech-vision, cyber security, DevOps, hands-on solutions as well as team development, I empowered an agile tech team of 40 FTEs towards KELLER business goals until the company was liquidated.
As a full-stack programmer, I programmed the first web shops of the KELLER Group GmbH and played a key role as CTO in increasing sales growth and reaching business goals. Between 2012 and 2019, as Managing Director, I was also responsible for various key-business decisions together with the founders within the KELLER Group executive team, growing over 100 employees, 19 internationally awarded web shops and two unique apps.
From 2019 until today, my focus was changing and supporting the way the development teams work: from a hierarchical structure into self-managed and purpose-driven product teams with clear roles and responsibilities. Besides implementing and supporting that structure, I also focused on re-newing the whole IT architecture from a monolith approach into a scalable headless & composable microservice architecture to be able to adapt to future needs instantly. My focus lately was on optimizing purchasing & logistics processes and connecting vendors via EDI to automize the purchase 2 pay process. I have international experience through several years abroad in various countries worldwide and like to go hiking (I climbed up to 5895m Mt Kilimanjaro) or skiing in the Alps in my free time.
