Developing and testing existing and new solutions as required Supporting and guiding the development teams in the implementation of new projects, or in the further development and maintenance of existing products, assuming the role of product manager if required. Establish and ensure best practice in relation to implementation, documentation, testing and packaging for distribution purposes.

Contribute to the handling of reported incidents and requests assigned to third level support and take follow-up actions as required according to established work instructions.

Development and integration for an existing tax application for the state Hessen and finance direction (OFD) of Frankfurt, to interface an old Cobol application (Host) to a new environment (MS-SQL and VB.Net), to process a big amount of end user invoices in an automated process using input data form different geographically distributed offices.

Management of an existing ERP-Solution for the Fashion sector based on a HQ company in Germany with international branches for productions, mainly in China and India. Created and suggested concepts to modernize the old legacy application to a new and modern web-based solution based on existing Business Logic. Agile PM using Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence etc.

Carried out a full analysis and review of the old code (Cobol) and completed missing documentation on a mission critical application, based on VMWare/Veeam, used by +100 users for millions of booking records, accounting and quality control as well as for managing 12 own-owned hotels. Implemented missing functionalities and features in the old Cobol code. Enhanced source code control and management of future versions.

Led the fast acquisition of all functions and legal aspects of a huge Salary Cobol-program used by thousands of companies in a data center, to assure continuity until end of phase of the application, Worked with the French and German ADP-team on site to speed up integration and recovery of the running environment. Documented and understood existing modules aged 40+ years in order to assure interaction and modifications due to legal aspects as well as debugging. Led a team of 25 from Germany and France to work on site and remote.

• Successfully moved old programs to the new platform without interruption (approx. 2.5 million transactions per months)

• Acted as "translator" between customer's employees in France and Germany to coordinate tasks

Led and delivered a project, which was in a 'disaster recovery mode', relocating from an existing unreliable and unstable application to a new version based on MS-SQL.

Started as a freelance software developer but quickly developed into managed IT services that grew quickly to a multi-national company, with two offices in Switzerland and offices in France, Italy and Morocco, that provided IT Services to clients in the Hospitality (4* and 5*-Hotels) industry. Provided ongoing support for existing ERP and Cobol solution 'LOGO'. Implementation of different interfaces (DTA & EDI) for Payment and Invoicing exchanges thru Banks and dedicated gateway services.

IPTV and Guest's Entertainment Systems, Geneva, Zürich, Rome, Marrakech, Paris, Nice, Frankfurt: Implemented over 40 projects for Guest's Entertainment Systems for 5-star hotels for Locatel, Quadriga, Swisscom, Otrum and other key players, providing turn-key solution from dish reception (SAT) thru networking for TV- and VOD signals, to TV-devices (STB), using IPTV switching technologies (IGMP/Snooping) as well as DRM (Rights Management), QoS and many other technologies related to Interactive TV Systems.
