The client's goal is to migrate the entire Office client landscape from Windows 10 to Windows 11 by the end of support (Oct. 2025). Creating the project plan and drafting the project brief, the budget overview, as well as the required resources.

Implementation of a globally available on-prem SIEM system. Onboarding of log sources (Windows servers, Linux servers, Windows 10 clients) using Splunk Universal Forwarders. Also, distributed syslog collectors are used at edge sites to forward UDP syslog data over TCP to the centralized SIEM platform.
Implementation of Tenable.io as the vulnerability service provider. Deploying the necessary Nessus agents on Windows servers, Linux servers, and Windows 10 clients. Also, network scanners were set up to regularly run network discovery scans in both office and production environments.

Conducted several workshops to clarify the global impact of application whitelisting. Incorporated the results into an implementation plan as part of the CISO's security roadmap. All information was consolidated into a final implementation concept and presented to the CISO and IT security managers. The concept was approved and is now integrated and scheduled in the IT security roadmap.
