• Setting up an interface from the DWH to an external portfolio management system at a leading European master management company
• Software release upgrade in an asset management system at a Luxembourg management company
• Participation in the WM EDDy_neu project at a Luxembourg management company
• Participation in the WM EDDy_neu project at a leading European master management company
• Optimizing system and process setup of an asset management system as part of a migration project at a large German cooperative custodian bank
• Vendor selection process for a fund control system according to BaFin Model 2 at a major German custodian bank of the savings banks organization

Responsible for leading and developing the Fund Transactions department

• Leadership responsibility for 19 employees
• Conceptual design for setting up custody services in Germany (branch in Frankfurt of DZ PRIVATBANK S.A.)
• Participation in a strategic group project at DZ BANK AG (restructuring fund services within the DZ BANK Group)
• Ensuring adequate organizational and operational structures for the subordinate fund transactions securities and other fund transactions groups
• Developing business processes and data processing systems of the custodian bank (especially transaction workflow, valuation, and control functions)
• Quality management, promoting continuous improvement processes, and conducting management controls
• Representation tasks towards fund management companies and auditors
• Project leadership for the “European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR)” project

Monitoring international equity, bond, and currency markets

• Designing and implementing fixed income investment strategies for the house funds of WGZ Bank and private banking
• Monitoring and allocating managed discretionary accounts
• Establishing valuation functions for illiquid assets
• Designing and implementing the “Investment Risk Management” project for asset management and private banking clients based on the variance-covariance (Value at Risk) approach
