My professional career began in 1982 with an apprenticeship as a motor vehicle mechanic, followed by seven years in assembly in various areas of Daimler AG. In 1994, I took on a foreman role in door assembly, including various parts picking and pre-assemblies. In 1997, I moved into planning, where I worked for over 19 years in different positions. These included efficiency and effectiveness projects, launch planning of various model series and optimization, machine planning, employee training, and projects of varying focus. Since 2015, I have been working as a consultant in the CKD area (overseas plants in Brazil, India, Russia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia) of Daimler AG. My main focus is on optimizing production in the area of Lean and on implementing Industrial Engineering in the plants.
