Senior SAP Data Migration

Part of an international project team responsible for migrating from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.

• Helped conduct a complete site migration project for critical business servers including SAP, UC4 (now Automic Workload Automation), IXOS (now part of OpenText) and sFTP systems from Milan to Augusta, ensuring continuity business and greater continuity of data security
• Coordination of cross-functional teams to meticulously plan and execute the migration process, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Conducted thorough pre-migration assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, resulting in a smooth transition without critical incidents

As a direct point of contact for customers, I collaborated on SAP Application Management Services (AMS) to find solutions for operational activities across various internal modules, including SAP MM, SD, FI-CA, CO, and others.

As a senior analyst programmer with a focus on SAP technology, in this role, I worked closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the system was fully compliant with all relevant regulations and standards, and that it was able to seamlessly integrate with the existing infrastructure of the organization.

One such project involved the design and implementation of a production, generation, and sending system for XML files that were compliant with both NSO (Node Sorting Node of Purchase Orders of Public Administrations) and PEPPOL (European Electronic Invoicing) standards.

As part of my role, I engaged directly with customers to identify solutions for operational activities related to payroll and communication processes, including interfacing with external agencies of the Public Administration such as the Ministry of Finance (MEF) and INPS.

In addition, I coordinated the acquisition and management of ancillary expenses, overseeing processes related to overtime, indemnity, and other costs. I was responsible for producing and generating interfaces to transfer data to MEF, transforming data using XML and migrating data to external systems using EDI.

Furthermore, I successfully implemented Adobe Forms documents to facilitate the processes related to payroll and other operational activities.

As a Delivery Manager, I was responsible for studying, analyzing, and designing solutions to meet the needs of customers in the medical examinations area. In this role, I collected information and designed databases, in addition to developing web services to interface with external systems.

One of my key achievements was the migration of a database with over 50 million data records to a redesigned project database. To accomplish this, I used IBM ETL tools and worked closely with the project team to ensure a smooth and successful data migration.

I realized an analysis and implemented a case study with SAP Guided Procedure (GP) and the Composite Application Framework (CAF), I also realized a prototype project to control and manage the logistic access of staff into the refinery, with particular attention to qualification and safety.

I was involved in the analysis and the implementation of a custom software module, for the archive data process integration. Because of the huge amount of data, the customer asked for a specific solution: to send the data via file transfer protocol (FTP) to their SAP ECC system, passing through custom transformation of the data.
