As part of the project, two legacy systems for real estate and lease contract management are replaced by SAP modules. The new system landscape is rolled out in four phases, each four months apart, starting with a data migration from the legacy systems to the new SAP environment. The challenge is to merge the existing manually created FI creditors and debtors with the data migration without creating duplicates. The project covers real estate management, importing and displaying building plans, maintaining lease and rental contracts, material management for IT and non-IT goods, contract management for property maintenance, payment processing, and related controlling. An important aspect is also ensuring barrier-free access to the environment.
