As part of the project, the two legacy systems for real estate and rental contract management are replaced by SAP modules. The new system landscape is rolled out in four phases, each four months apart, starting with a data migration from the legacy systems to the new SAP environment, with the challenge of merging the manually created FI vendors and customers during the data migration without creating duplicates. The project includes real estate management, importing and displaying building plans, maintenance of rental and lease contracts, material management of IT and non-IT goods, contract management for property maintenance and upkeep, its payment transactions, and related controlling. An important aspect is also the barrier-free usability of the environment.

As part of a large international project, the existing outdated software and system landscape of the group is replaced by a custom-built new system landscape. The parallel operation of the old and new environments must be ensured internationally. The project is run in a pseudo-agile way, with classic project management and agile implementation. Two major releases are carried out per year, with several minor releases in between. At the same time as the project releases, the software is rolled out step by step in all countries and continuously updated there.
