Test Analyst (manual testing) – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Factoring)

• Planning, execution & documentation of manual tests in the factoring module of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, supported by AI-supported tools for structuring
• Working in an agile project environment with a two-week sprint cycle, including sprint planning, review, and QA coordination
• Implementing progressive & regression test scenarios to cover new and existing functionality
• Managing and tracking test cases & defects using TestRail and Jira (BAM tickets)
• Covering key factoring processes, such as contact management, contract card, debtors, limit processes, corporate groups; payments including journal entries, transfer logic, and comment fields; testing & parameterization of IKV/WKV components including reporting; portal tests in the TAS system: login, user management, feedback functions
• Contributing to special modules & interfaces: in-house tiles, factoring dashboard, risk evaluation
• Maintaining test status and planning retests (Passed / Blocked / Partially Passed) in close coordination with business units
• Quality assurance during data migration, including validation, variance analysis, and documentation

Project: Data Migration Factoring – Ensuring technical stability, business accuracy, and regulatory compliance when migrating factoring processes from the legacy system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC – especially in contract management, debtors, limit processes, as well as debt collection and trade credit insurance.

• Conducting and assuring quality of progressive & regression tests in an agile sprint cycle (two weeks)
• Agile test planning and sprint support, including test case assignment, reviews and retrospectives
• Business validation and verification of factoring data, debtor processes, limits and WKV/IKV parameters
• Defect analysis & tracking with Jira & TestRail (BAM ticket system)
• Coordination with development & business units for test prioritization and feature release
• Experience with complex ERP test landscapes, multi-client portals & remote test environments
• Integration of AI-based assistance systems for structured test case creation, language optimization and validation of complex test logic

• Creating structured test plans for positive, negative and regression tests
• Defining functional test cases & required test data for functional and non-functional tests (white-box testing)
• Error tracking & defect management with daily coordination with product owners, development teams, business analysts & testers
• Tracking & documenting bugs until resolution
• Analyzing & evaluating requirements/user stories with direct feedback to developers or business analysts
• Responsible for releases with a sprint cycle of 1 to 2 weeks
• Supporting releases & deployments to production, including status updates for business units & management
• Data migration of existing applications into change requests or final settlements

Project: Development of a web application – Corona relief program by the federal government – platform for tax consultants, auditors & lawyers to submit bridging aid applications with interfaces to OTP-App Authenticator, DATEV, IBAN Suite, Google Places (REST), external connections to cash register systems and tax offices via WebDAV/file server (XML, CSV). Role and permission management, security checks, virus scanning & PDF sanitizing, financial data validation, KONSENS notification process & ELSTER notice delivery, reporting & analysis.
