Printer Harmonisation of the company’s core sites (company size: 2,200 employees, industry: medical technology). Due to the constant growth of the international company and the heterogeneous printer landscape in terms of manufacturers, hardware models and processes at headquarters and its core sites, it was necessary to redefine the concept and requirements in order to implement an efficient and scalable solution for the company. Hardware, software and contractual requirements were determined, a marketing concept was developed and a test market for implementation defined.

Project Lead / Project Manager

Responsible for multiple projects in a corporation (5,000 employees, industry: traffic safety and management) as Project Manager (partially as Project Manager):

  • Datacenter Migration within the group to the cloud (08/2020 – 12/2022)

  • To consolidate and enhance the cybersecurity of the IT landscape, the goal was to migrate all local datacenters of the sister companies, based on group-wide standards, to the private cloud and Azure Cloud following a hub and spoke design. For each branch, a customized concept had to be developed and implemented in consultation with local responsible personnel due to diverse requirements. (Number of subprojects: 18 individual projects per sister company)

  • Due to a new cybersecurity insurance, it was necessary to remove privileged accounts such as local administrator accounts from the clients and replace them with an Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM) solution. After a successful proof of concept, the solution was rolled out at headquarters and standards were established for company-wide rollout. The software enforces least privileges and assigns each employee exactly the rights they need through policy creation.

As the company’s headquarters, it is important to test new technologies and establish standards for company-wide implementation. Various packages were selected regarding SLAs and minimizing the number of vendors.
