Printer harmonization of the company’s core sites (company size 2,200 employees, industry: medical technology). Due to the ongoing growth of the international company and the heterogeneous printer environment across manufacturers, hardware models and processes at headquarters and its core sites, it was necessary to redefine the concept and requirements to implement an efficient and scalable solution. Hardware, software and contractual requirements were defined, a marketing concept was created and a test market for implementation was set up.

Datacenter migration within the group to the cloud (08/2020 – 12/2022)
To consolidate and enhance the cybersecurity of the IT landscape, the goal was to migrate all local data centers of sister companies into the private cloud and Azure cloud using a hub and spoke design based on group-wide standards. A tailor-made concept was developed for each branch due to different requirements and implemented after consultation with local stakeholders. (Number of sub-projects: 18 individual projects, one per sister company)

A new cybersecurity insurance required removing privileged accounts like local admin accounts from clients and replacing them with an Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM) solution. After a successful proof of concept, the solution was rolled out at headquarters and standards were set for company-wide deployment. The software enforces least-privilege and assigns each employee the exact rights they need through policies.

As the service contract with the old phone provider was ending, a cloud-based telephony solution was sought, leading to a switch to MS Teams. As the company’s headquarters, it was important to test new technologies and set standards for group-wide implementation. Various SLA packages and minimal vendor dependencies were defined.
