The digitalization program for sales included three subprojects: BiPRO, portfolio transfer, and NCCS (New Customer Contract Systems).
BiPRO is an industry institute for process optimization to standardize IT standards and cross-processes. In the program, the 430.x norms (transmission service), 42x (division-specific TAA services), and other cross-services were established to advance automation/digitalization with brokers.
For portfolio transfer, a single-page application including a robotics solution was created to automate the transfer of insurance portfolios. In the second step, the external application was directly connected to the Guidewire backend system.
In the New Customer Contract Systems (NCCS) subproject, an external partner was contracted to establish a new customer contract system.
The work within the project included the following tasks:
Project management: analysis, testing and coordination to create a single-page application including a robotics solution for automated transfer of insurance portfolios
PMO Lead: onboarding the new program lead (interim program lead) and PMO staff; creating top management reports, board reports, status reports, milestone planning, release and budget planning

As part of order management, the technical commissioning of service and work packages for IT projects was carried out. In IT system support and further development, all project managers in the department were supported and trained in using the Cobra-T system, which consolidated all data and planning around IT projects. In addition, improvement and development suggestions for the system were analyzed and advice was given on implementation. Due to a merger of different business units, all already completed IT projects also had to be technically closed in the system. Budget management included planning and execution review of projects in the early phase as well as management and approval of the project budget. Another task was controlling budget prioritization based on information from the prioritization management team and corresponding system checks. In this context, extensive Excel files including macros were also created, which were used for process optimization and data analysis.
