• Deliver ATM/CNS systems
• Manage projects through the entire ATM/CNS lifecycle
• Define ATM lifecycle processes
• Prepare ATM System Technical Specifications (TS) according to MOPS, user requirements and ATS used
• Perform ATM system verifications and validations
• Manage change control system
• Implement Safety Management System (SMS)
• Perform system safety assessments (according to ECTL or UK approach)
• Ensure software safety (ED-109A/DO-278, ED-153)
• Participate in international R&D projects under SESAR JU
• Define UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) for drones and integrate it into ATM
• Support Quality Management System (QMS)
• Develop future concepts and technology roadmaps

• Support the Head of Engineering (Technical Director) in developing future concepts, technology roadmaps, systems architecture and implementation portfolios
• Ensure ANS has the technical expertise to support airport engineering operations
• Specify, deliver and transition ATM systems into operation
• Manage system projects and engineering changes to maintain service continuity within specifications, cost and timeframe
• Support specification and design of air traffic equipment (ATE)
• Support implementation and changes of ATE equipment and maintenance planning
• Support Quality Management System and lifecycle management processes

• Partial responsibility for the SUR domain
• SUR infrastructure development
• ATM lifecycle (Concept of Operations, technical requirements, design, validations)
• SUR systems procurement (through technical specifications, definition of requirements etc.)
