I draw cartoons, and I’m happy to work with any given theme. There are no boundaries to the subjects. Socially critical or philosophical content, wordplay or current world politics - anything is possible. The style is realism. The drawings are mostly in shades of gray. They are created in the traditional way at a drawing table, using pencil, ink and, for colored cartoons, colored pencils. Then they are scanned and sent in high resolution. Over the past decades, this approach has led to the publication of many hundreds of drawings, mainly in print media but also in books and for advertising.
