I am a Ph.D. candidate in Materials Science and Engineering at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN – Brazil), specializing in the development and characterization of advanced metallic, ceramic, and composite materials. My current research focuses on the deposition of thin films through plasma-assisted processes aimed at green hydrogen production and water electrolysis, combining surface science, nanotechnology, and energy materials innovation.
Over the past decade, I have built solid expertise in high-entropy alloys and carbides, surface functionalization, and advanced powder metallurgy techniques such as high-energy milling and Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS). My work has resulted in four patents in advanced materials processing and surface modification, along with multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals such as Materials Science and Engineering B, Journal of Materials Research and Technology, and Materials Today Communications.
I have collaborated with research teams from UFRN, UEM, and UENF, developing sustainable and high-performance materials with enhanced mechanical, thermal, and electrochemical properties for aerospace, energy, and electronic applications.
My professional goal is to connect scientific innovation and industrial application, contributing to the global transition toward clean energy, advanced materials, and high-efficiency technologies.
