Dear Sir or Madam, nowadays IT infrastructure is one of the foundations for a company's success. Without a doubt, design, security, availability and operation of a suitable client/server infrastructure are becoming increasingly important.
In this context, it's no longer enough to split a network into individual areas such as servers, clients, VoIP, DMZ, data centers, VPN, MPLS, LAN or WAN, or to view, plan or manage them separately.
To gain added value from a network for a company and to ensure network security over the long term, it's necessary to look at the logical connections of applications such as SAP or file services from the server to the client. This has to be done with consideration for security, standardization and performance across all active and passive components such as servers, clients, switches, routers and firewalls, as well as the underlying network topologies in LAN and WAN. Virtualization, the introduction of new technologies like SDN and the outsourcing of services and infrastructure play a special role here.
My specializations:
Despite that, I have successfully completed projects in areas that build on or overlap with these topics.
Over time, I have developed from a technical role into management without losing sight of the technical aspects, to offer my clients the right added value as the last level of escalation.
For further information, such as the measurement and analysis tools available to me or past projects, I will be happy to answer any questions.
I look forward to supporting you and/or your clients with your everyday and not-so-everyday challenges!
