Accounting and Finance Officer

• Contributing to the preparation of various financial budgets and reports, or any tasks related to data reconciliation, data cleaning, or database analysis.
• Compiling and recording the revenues accounts and bank statements of the GICHD, the Trust funds, and the entities hosted by the GICHD
• Verifying the content and accuracy of electronic workflows relating to donor agreements and financial reports
• Reviewing and controlling the financial reports addressed to donors to ensure that the figures presented are in-line with the figures in the accounting system
• Managing the cash advance demands/cash payments and cash returns for operating staffs
• Managing the closure and the reconciliation processes of rebilling working days and payroll accounts every quarter with the finance officer
• Support the finance team for the preparation of the annual audit as well as any specific documents in compliance with the RPC 21 norm

• Prepare electronic documents for 4 projects (South Sudan, Congo, Madagascar and Somalia) selected by the European Community Humanitarian Aid Office for auditing
• Perform analyses and track expenses' amount and transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Assist the preparation on payroll system transactions

Management Information and Financial Performance:

• Execute and control the PCM Income/Expense items mapping to ensure accurate records and booking under PCM Product & Lending. Assist in managing and monitoring budgets vs expenses, evaluating the monthly income against targets.
• Generate customized excel reports such as monthly Customers Profitability report, Liquidity Balance report or Transactions Volume report to relationship managers, team heads and senior managers.
• Provide the insight analysis for Head of department on product profitability/ team performance and depart’s profitable contribution through Monthly Performance Evaluation.ppt presentation
• Report data and adjusted any mismatch to FCD (Financial Control Dept) and to Hong Kong-Asia Pacific Head Quarter on HORIS(HSBC Operational Report Income)

Operational Control:

• Coordinated existing procedures within Client Management Team through various projects (Ad-hoc report queries, Intranet platform, and Information Classification)
• Remain compliant and ensure awareness of Audit and Group requirements, or other internal guidelines, from Compliance depart. and Government banking regulations.
