I developed an FE model in ANSYS WORKBENCH that acts as a digital twin of a test bench for the virtual testing of intraocular lenses (IOLs). For this, I independently planned and performed material and test bench experiments. I then validated and verified the model with the experimental data.
I independently designed and simulated a new component for an IOL injector and produced functional prototypes using additive manufacturing.

I designed over 10 jigs and test fixtures (e.g., milled and turned parts) made of plastic in CREO PARAMETRIC for optical and mechanical tests of intraocular lenses. I created precise, standard-compliant technical drawings according to DIN EN ISO 22081. Then I produced functional prototypes using additive manufacturing methods (FDM, SLS).
I carried out mechanical tests (e.g., compression tests) and optical measurements of intraocular lenses.
I developed a fine-mechanical calibration unit for a test device based on iterative FE simulation results in ANSYS WORKBENCH.

I carried out functional tests of retarders as well as tests on individual components (e.g., seals). I analyzed the test data in Excel.
I translated technical documentation into English.
