Test Manager

Since the end of 2023, I have been working as a Test Manager on the further development of the standard software "G2VB+" by the vendor OTS for the City of Hamburg. The software, already in use for building inspection procedures, is being expanded to include specialized procedures such as special use procedures as well as route and excavation procedures. At the same time, a platform is being developed where additional specialized procedures can be configured. My tasks include coordinating sprint-related tests, release and acceptance tests, as well as interface tests. Additionally, I conduct some interface tests myself and contribute to the development of the interfaces. A particular challenge is coordinating the 8 district offices in Hamburg, each with different workflows and whose approval for the release tests must be secured. Tight schedules and numerous alignments with various stakeholders add to the complexity and require high flexibility and precise communication. The test team consists of 5 people, while the development team comprises around 30 employees.

The Innogy website platform was migrated from an old CMS to a new CMS. For this, the applications and websites of Innogy and its partners were migrated and the standard CMS "Sitecore" was adapted to Innogy's needs.

The in-house development (based on MS-Access) of an application for managing foreclosures and protected accounts was replaced by a standard application. The managed application had to be connected to the bank's host systems and the special requirements of the business units implemented in the standard application. Additionally, the entire legacy data was migrated. In a second step, digitization topics were implemented (introduction of pre-scanning of documents, fully automatic OCR automated archiving).

Techem Energy Contracting replaced the previously used Excel-based tool for managing their energy systems. The task was to migrate the energy systems into the energy industry's ERP software (XAP) and to ensure the quality of XAP customization.

Techem Energy Contracting markets an energy monitoring system that consists of a UMTS-based data collector and a Flash-based online portal. The task was to further develop both the data collector and the online portal and to ensure quality.

Sirona Dental Systems is a medical device manufacturer from Bensheim. The project task was to test the functional requirements for a CAD-CAM tool, as well as to further develop the test processes and to introduce a test management tool.
