During my three-and-a-half years as Operations Manager in India, I successfully led the restructuring of the Indian unit, converting it from a joint venture into a wholly owned subsidiary, moving to a new building, setting up local production including technology transfer from Germany to India, and restoring profitability through strategic actions. I played a key role in building and strengthening the sales and service network, implementing a functional hotline, ensuring a seamless transfer of production equipment and knowledge from headquarters to India, and applying robust supply chain management practices.
