I did lead transactional Finance for Eurofins Germany. Which means 400 Million Euros Turnover and 5000 colleagues in 100 Legal Entities.

I do this as Managing Director of a Shared Service Centre with 50 employees.

I enabled the achievement of bottom-line results by developing and implementing both financial and operations management plans for approximately 100 legal entities and 5000 employees. I maintained a trajectory of growth while avoiding obstacles arising from constantly changing demands of staff and operations across three departments. I increased staff’s performance and motivation levels of total 5o employees in three departments through three direct reports.

  • Managing indirect spend and maximising savings by implementing P2P Platform (COUPA) in 70 legal entities.
  • Introduced a ticket system to maximise service quality for more than 2.000 customer requests per month
  • Replacing parts of an ERP system with a modern cloud solution and replacing OCR scanning of ingoing invoices and PDF (Email) utilisation for purchase orders by 50%.

I transformed the operations and reporting for all internal allocations and cross charge activities fundamentally.

I was driving sales centring and played a vital part in profit maximization activities.

  • Decreased time for budgeting of all German SSC SUBBU´s, departments, and cost centres by 40%.
  • Reduced the time spent for preparing, executing, reporting, month-end activates, and closing in SCC from 20 days to four days by establishing several digital tools (mostly VBA based).
