  • Facilitated several cross-functional workshops for strategic tasks, such as positioning strategy and UX & business strategy, including C-level-only workshops and a 2-day workshop with >20 participants.
  • Identified 3 major strategy gaps by internally using empirical research methods (stakeholder interviews). Advised Management to develop a framework that combines user value & business value.
  • Advised Product Management to develop a product strategy that is user-centric, results-oriented, and focused on leading indicators, including a North Star Framework.
  • Worked with design and product stakeholders to develop a discovery framework that systematizes our discovery efforts and makes them less prone to solution thinking.

Strategic Research

  • Conducted major quantitative Jobs-to-be-done study to prioritize >150 user needs and pain points that were validated in previous research projects. Results inform product strategy and future discovery efforts of 3 Dev teams.

Project Highlight

  • Conducted qualitative discovery research to identify several opportunities to extend our user journey, which resulted in the new "Date Map"-Feature.
  • Quantitative validation (Survey, KANO) of major pain points and evaluation of viability and desirability of first solutions.
  • 40 continuous, iterative UX tests from early mockups, to prototypes, to post-release testing in close collaboration with Product Design.

Strategic Research

  • Conducted major yearly Surveys across different segments in four markets (DACH & FRITES). Findings delivered major differentiation insights for the brand repositioning efforts of Marketing.
  • Worked together with several stakeholders (CRM, Analytics, PM) to improve our continuous CSAT-Survey, e.g. by implementing an automated analysis of open ended text answers.

Internal Efforts

  • Created templates for our reports and graphs based on stakeholder feedback and needs.
  • Worked together with my Lead on our Team Vision, Mission & Roadmap.
  • Shared knowledge and new insights in creative & entertaining ways across the whole company (Mythbuster-Format, sharing of video content).

Project Highlight

  • Combined qualitative research (explorative interviews, usability tests) and quantitative research (survey, benchmarks, segmentation) for new onboarding experience. With the Benchmark Survey pre and post the design changes, we could show that we reduced frustration of our first time users by 16%-points.

Project Lowlight

  • Co-led discovery and validation research with >10 qualitative user interviews, >20 iterative UX tests, and a survey. Project resulted in an MVP for a new key feature.
  • BUT the feature did not make it into the product. Lessons learned were to improve cross-functional communication around technical feasibility, avoid solution thinking from the start, and require clear business goals.
