CBRE had grown through acquisition and organically, resulting in a fragmented technology department not aligned to the business’s needs. The impact was slow speed to market, revenue loss, growth of shadow IT, application proliferation & duplication, IP loss, misalignment of investments, disintermediation risk and increasing operating complexity & expenditure.
